Regarding "It is attractive to hummingbirds and bees[13]."[edit]

The reference for bees was inserted, because I noticed hundreds of bees storming our Weigela florida plant in the garden. The plant doesn't seem to be a high pollen plant, but bees and bumblebees enjoy it all day long. Contrary, The British bee journal & bee-keepers adviser (Try https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/83082#page/149/mode/1up) mentions in v.7/1879-80 p.143 "Weigela rosea [...] not a favorite with bees, though they visit it and obtain a small supply of honey." — Preceding unsigned comment added by LS9974 (talkcontribs) 11:35, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
