Tenants ... really?[edit]

There are a number of issues with the article, the first being the lack of the use of Landlord for the FA! The Football Association are said to own the stadium, so you should also refer to them as the landlords of the stadium right?? In the top right cell I was looking through that bit then you have a Tenants field saying England national football team and Tottenham. Tottenham I can understand as a Tenant, but why the national football team as a Tenant, that makes no sense what so ever! Yes they play at the venue, but how on earth can the national football team pay the FA for tenancy or rent the stadium from the FA????? It makes no sense what so ever!!! That seriously needs fixing!!

The documentation for the infobox in question states against the "tenants" field: Insert the teams and any other parties who use the venue as their home stadium or arena. So it is intended to cover all teams who play there. It doesn't mean that they literally rent it from someone else....... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:50, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What a strange way and use of English, it's not very correct is it now. Cheers, Hideme, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hide.me (talkcontribs) 21:38, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of concerts at Wembley Stadium[edit]

There is a list of concerts which is has a hidden tag, do we really need that on the article? Shouldn't it be removed I was thinking WP:NOSTATS applies. Govvy (talk) 11:43, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seems this table is no longer here, but isn't the Music section in breach of WP:NOTDIARY as all it is is a prose list of people's favourite band / artists who have played there (not that) recently? Spike 'em (talk) 14:42, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This section continues to be a largely unsourced (though I'm sure the fact the concerts actually took place is easy enough to source) list of concerts with no criteria for inclusion. Before I gut it for the aforementioned NOTDIARY reasons, does anyone have any other opinions? Spike 'em (talk) 14:31, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nav box bottom of page.[edit]

There is a grey expandable nav box in the footer section bottom of the page, titled "Events and tenants". I can't see where it gets that title from as I wanted to fix it just to say Events, anybody know how to fix that? Govvy (talk) 10:25, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You fixed it, cheers. It's a bit of a funny nav box, the top line is some kind of thick-blue-grey and not a single style black-line like there rest of the border. I have no idea how to fix that, I am not the best coder. Govvy (talk) 13:28, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Govvy: Is this better? I replaced the |header= with a |title=. Feel free to amend it to something more descriptive. Spike 'em (talk) 19:42, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
using the header with one of the predefined templates gives the coloured bar, which is shown in the documentation for the Succession templates. These may be useful if there is a set of collapsed boxes, but I don't see the need if there is just one. Spike 'em (talk) 19:55, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, looks much better cheers, Govvy (talk) 23:28, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Transport connections section[edit]

Another weird thing I've noticed is that there is an image of a map (File:Wembley Stadium map.png) not being displayed when you view the main page, it just shows the code on the article, but if you go to edit mode, preview, then you can see the image map. I don't know why you can't see the map or what's going on exactly. Govvy (talk) 11:02, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It was Adele's fault! There was a previous malformed [[File:]] in the previous section. Closing that seems to filter on to the transport map and fix that. Spike 'em (talk) 15:17, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it was your fault, in this edit! Spike 'em (talk) 15:22, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
, lol, can't win them all, I spent a near whole 10 minutes trying to work that out this morning. Cheers. Govvy (talk) 15:53, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

History / Redevelopment[edit]

This article needs a section, or at least a paragraph, describing why the old stadium was demolished and the new stadium was built. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:24, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
