Constituent Townships--needs much verification

[edit]
  • This section was written in note form and some of the notes may have made sense to the writer, but not to a reader coming in from outside.
  • Glanbrook Township was omitted from the list.
  • There are some errors WRT townships that were moved into other counties from Wentworth (Seneca was in Haldimand, Caistor in Lincoln (now Niagara Region).
  • It would have helped to include incorporated towns.
  • I shall have to search around other articles in Wikipedia to discover what was meant by "later" in the context of after 1973. Did he mean immediately after or in another later round of municipal reorganization?
  • As for Barton becoming the "village of Hamilton" after 1973, the mind boggles.

[edit]

The above leads to an Error 404.

Archives of Ontario re-organized their website sometime in the past couple of years and, like many other links, this one now leads nowhere. Whether it still exists as a webpage hiding down inside their website is unknown to this writer.

This is also a dead link to a Library and Archives Canada webpage. It leads to an incomplete page that appears to be a form that needs to be filled in.
