Name change[edit]

I think the name of this article should be changed for two reasons. Firstly, the use of the word accidents should be exchanged for the more appropriate disaster. I also find the current name being ambiguous in that it could be interpreted as an article covering accidents in the West Ice in general when it in fact covers one prolonged incident. Perhaps 1952 West Ice disaster? __meco (talk) 20:54, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
