Council article[edit]

In other areas of England, there are separate articles for the area and the authority e.g. Thanet District and Thanet District Council. Do we need that here as well? Crookesmoor (talk) 12:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanet was merged, although many unitary councils have separate articles its probably not a good idea as most of the time the content is interchangeable, see WP:UKDISTRICTS. We should probably look at merging many others. On Wikidata yes its usual to have separate items for councils though. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:50, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
