The Nuclear Regulatory Commission terminated the facility operating license for the TR-2 facility on September 19, 2008. TR-2 was included in NRC Docket 050-00022 (the reactor facility) and NRC Docket 070-00698 (the general Waltz Mill special nuclear material license).

Around 2007, a party made a Freedom of Information Request to the NRC regarding the reactor. The NRC responded by placing a large amount of information in the ADAMS public document repository easily available on the NRC website at [1].

Search ADAMS for the Property: Case/Reference which contains "2002-0248" to find this FOIA information.

Search ADAMS for the Property: Docket Number which starts with "05000022" for information on the TR-2 docket; note that ADAMS doesn't include a dash in the Docket number and has a series of "0"s that are not intuitively obvious.
