"Weston is an affluent"...

[edit]

This sentence in the opening paragraph seems to need some type of factual citation -- I don't think census statistics or the residency status of prominent American athletes is a legitimate bona-fides. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.199.35.172 (talk) 08:28, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I added an advertisement template to the article after noticing multiple sections (notably history, sports, parks, and Weston Town Center sound more promotional than encyclopedic. I believe this article has been edited for tone before, and while it is mostly tone-neutral, the focus of the article seems to mostly be information relevant to people considering moving to the city rather than someone wishing to gain a general overview of the city. Parks and recreation section edits

[edit]

I have completely reworked the parks & recreation section. The section, in my opinion, felt more like an advertisement (something which should be avoided on Wikipedia) and as if it was would be best suited for WikiVoyage, one of Wikipedia's sister projects. I will make a WikiVoyage page on Weston and incorporate the park info originally in this article (minus the references as they are not needed there for this info), as I think that the info originally in this Wikipedia article is absolutely perfect for a WikiVoyage travel guide article like that. Plus, I think that a city of Weston's size is very deserving of one.
