Primarily powered by electrical lines[edit]

"Powered by two electric motors connected to an on-board diesel generator" -> I rode on this ferry this morning. I parked right next to the yellow mechanical-room. No engine sound just the whirring of electric motors and propellers. So I am almost certain the diesel generator is just in case something happens to the shore power connection.
