Hosts & dates

Whoever keeps changing the dates of the hosts, hostesses and announcers, please quit it, you are making this article incorrect.

Also, stop linking David Day the announcer to the David Day Wiki page. They are NOT the same person

Wheel of Fortune in 2005?

There is somebody out there that keeps changing the dates of presenters on this page. They insist that the show was around in Australia in 2005 (and I have previously seen that the show was rested in May? 2005). Wheel of Fortune never was on the air in 2005!!! I will change these dates back unless I have evidence that prooves me wrong (which I doubt!) --Darijoe 06:47, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Re: Wheel of Fortune in 2005?

You are correct that no episodes were aired in 2005, but it has now become apparent that at least some episodes were made in that year. These episodes (with Steve and a noticably-pregnant Sophie) are now airing on 7 at 10am weekdays Cherry pizza 15:25, 9 August 2006

Top Dollar!

It'd be good if someone could make find a way to make note of the way the studio audience shouts "top dollar!" when the contestants spin the wheel (which I find hilarious). The "N for Nellie" cliche would also add some colour to this article, as would Goon of Fortune in a "See other" section at the bottom of the page. Stuart mcmillen 05:26, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Um...

The "top dollar" cry hasn't been used on the show since 1994. Since then the audience has been trained to react to the wheel with the appropriate excitement/dissapointment when the wheel approaches/escapes the top dollar/prize/bankrupt/lose a turn/free spin spaces Cherry pizza 15:25, 9 August 2006

Who owns this version?

Does Sony Pictures Television International own this version? King Shadeed 19:56, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

This version is owned by Grundy Television (now FreemantleMedia Australia). It did not show any Sony Pictures Television logo at the end of each episode so I would say no.NJM2010 (talk) 03:41, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Wheel of Fortune Australia.gif

Image:Wheel of Fortune Australia.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wheel of Fortune in 2008

I have moved all of the info about the revival of WoF to the new article Million Dollar Wheel. According to many different sources, the name will be changed to that, so it's only fair that this article does get a mention of the name change, and perhaps mention Tim Campbell and Kelly Landry in their hosting duties, though the rest of the info goes onto Million Dollar Wheel. Just thought I'd mention what happened in case somebody didn't understand. Swanny92 (talk) 03:15, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Different shows

This single article is about three different shows. Usualy on WP different versions of the same game show format have different articles, since they are different shows.

Seriously, folks

Who keeps placing incorrect information about the show's history on this page? Furthermore, who keeps putting barely coherent, porrly-written blabber on it? I have spotted five errors on the page, but I've given up trying to edit this article because whoever the incompetent editor is keeps re-including the poor content.
