Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on November 6, 2018.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that subscription-based airline Wheels Up provides a "Same Day Game Day" airline service to college football games?

Note[edit]

This draft fails WP:NCORP by a very long way. Most of the sources are press releases or churnalism. Please do see WP:ORGCRIT which goes through the sourcing requirements in detail. Jytdog (talk) 03:05, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jytdog:, I had this page userfied and then I attempted to bring the article up to snuff with WP:RS. I view this as an important company. I was looking for content on WP and realized it was deleted. I took it upon myself to improve the article. The company is discussed in lots of industry sources. It even gets some mainstream press. I think it passes WP:GNG. I sought the opinion of the main discussant at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wheels Up before moving it into main space.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:14, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is a neutral summary of WP:RS.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:07, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:SPEEDY. You cannot remove the tag. And no, the refs are not OK per WP:ORGCRIT as I wrote above. Jytdog (talk) 01:20, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As stated above, me and the primary discussant at the most recent AFD agreed that the revised version could go into mainspace. This should be taken to AFD for for further discussion since the primary supporter of the previous deletion has been convinced to give the article a chance in the mainspace.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:23, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think it reasonable to persist in a speedy over the objection of an established editor, even if they were the original author --this is an an obvious case for IAR. As forthe article, I will try to improve it further-. DGG ( talk ) 08:00, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

IPO under consideration[edit]

The company said in May 2018 that it is planning an IPO sometime in the next year. There needs to be zero promotional content and zero churnalism in this page. Jytdog (talk) 18:17, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

aircraft[edit]

I am havingsome difficulty in identifying the specific aircraft they own with the ones being linked to in our articles. DGG ( talk ) 01:02, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
