spywareinfo.com to spywareinfoforum.info

So it looks like the owner of spywareinfo.com lost his domain name to some domain squatters. A few wikipedia editors saw this and it looks like one link was 'deactivated' and a note left that it's dead, and the other was switched to a discussion (yet left the date and attribution of the original article). When I saw this today, I replaced the links with links to the internet archive's version of them. But I just noticed that the former owner of spywareinfo.com has now registered spywareinfoforum.info and has all the old content there. So what was: [1] is now accessible at: [2] and [3] is now: [4]. My question is whether I should keep the links pointing to the archived versions at archive.org, or use the new site? Onlynone (talk) 18:38, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

URGENT

about 30 seconds ago the whenu sopftware caused a popup of winantivirus as one of its ads, im not sure yet if it just infected this pc but i assume it did, that is one of the worst pieces of malware around and i think fair warning should be given on this page, it clearly is affiliated with spyware even if the program itself is not considered spyware!!!

WhenU out of Google?

If you search WhenU, or searchbar on google you will get links to WhenU.com ITS NOT BEEN REMOVED FROM GOOGLE

211.224.170.11 15:59, 10 February 2007 (UTC) This article was obviously written by WhenU employee. From my experience this is a very bad program which is bundles with adware and is difficult to fully remove. It's actually #10 on McAfee's top 10 viruses list.

Agreed. This program does not "ask" to be loaded exactly, instead it is in a list of checkboxes already checked in the programs that install it. In effect, it is asking if you don't want it, and not making itself too obvious.

I WROTE THIS ARTICLE

This article was not written by an Employee of WhenU, It was written by ME!

nasty program

Whenu is a nasty program... Try to get rid of it now, it steals your information... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 201.26.97.224 (talk) 03:50, 14 March 2007 (UTC).

A couple years ago I spent a week scouring WhenU and its foul contagion out of a computer. Its removal protocols only pretended to work. I had to exorcise it myself with security software and advice from experts. Where do I go to get my week back? FC 05:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

WhenU Save Installing Trojan Horses?

I can't find any proof of this and the Mcafee page says nothing about it, so I'm gonna delete it. If anyone finds any info about it feel free to bring it back though.
