Seems like the Aeon Flux movie takes its plot from this novel.

The title is an allusion to Shakespeare's 73rd sonnet:

That time of year thou mayst in me behold When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang Upon those boughs which shake against the cold, Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang. (lines 1-4)

What's it about?[edit]

I think there should be a section explaining what the book is about theme-wise before the section going into the plot.

Global cooling paragraph seems wrong[edit]

The article says the book refers to "global cooling caused by human pollution." However, the quote from the book describes cooling caused by the end of pollution and CO2 production.
