Edits[edit]

I've tidied this up and put it in the past tense. Is a video game discontinued in 1990 really notable? I've removed a plug for one Diane Wilcox who doesn't appear to be notable, text filed below Chrismorey (talk) 07:27, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dr Diane Wilcox worked as a freelance computer graphic artist and technical writer on the game.[1]
It is extremely notable. The Carmen Sandiego franchise is the most successful edutainment franchise of all time, and every single one of its games before it was sold to The Learning Company in the late 90's were extremely successful and highly influential. Search Google News and Google Books. You'll find information there.--Coin945 (talk) 09:09, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I'm sorry but I believe your so-called copyedit has actually been detrimental to the article. You have removed lots of valuable information, and have added some inaccuracies to the article. This must be rectified. If you would like to scrap what's there and start afresh, please go ahead. But unfortunately removing great sources and information is not a good way to go.--Coin945 (talk) 09:12, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is there an Apple IIGS version?[edit]

Just wondering. I know other Carmen Sandiego games made it to Apple IIGS. In fact, I found this here: https://archive.org/details/e2gs_0659_Where_in_Europe_is_Carmen_Sandiego_Disk_1_Apple_IIe_version And here is the info on Moby Games: https://www.mobygames.com/game/where-in-europe-is-carmen-sandiego --BuddyBoy600 (talk) 21:13:42, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
