White-breasted Cormorant

I suggest that white-breasted Cormorant is Living in South Australia also. I often see it.

I have also seen this bird on Hayling Island in Hampshire UK —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.120.133 (talk) 22:01, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Far be it from me, and all that, but I wish I could be half as confident as you seem to be about which species you have seen where. A lot of professional ornithologists would join me in that wish, because, as you may see if you read the article carefully, the specific status is by no means settled. I assume you have seen some form(s) of the great cormorant complex, but that is by no means the same thing; I would be modest about spreading the glad tidings of the species you think you have seen in Oz; if your mates have any serious background in pulling the birds, they might take the mickey somewhat.
