Whiteness

All the color is described as "white", my ancestor reported that in the 30's, the actual color was "unbleached" or "cream". Achieving "white" is another process, and retaining "white" in use is very difficult. 121.200.27.15 (talk) 04:25, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, but I just repeated what the sources I've seen say. The ones I looked at I think just describe it as white. It's clear from pics that the colors are inconsistent though.
I'm still working on this article slowly so maybe I'll find a source that's more nuanced on the specific shade(s). toobigtokale (talk) 05:05, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
