Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Wightman Cup. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Location of matches

[edit]

I wonder for the location in the match that instead of "Wimbledon" linking to the article Wimbledon, London, which is about the area of London, it should link to the specific venue the event was held at - ie the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Indeed the venue is very often simply referred to as "Wimbledon" (albeit not terribly accurately) Equally, and for the same reasons, instead of linking to the Forest Hills, Queens article, Forrest Hills in the location section could link to the actual venue the matches were played at, the historic Forest Hills Stadium (which redirects to West Side Tennis Club). I think this would be of more benefit in navigational terms than the current arrangement and would note the location details for matches held at the Royal Albert Hall and Crystal Palace link to specific sports venues rather than the areas of London these matches were held in.
