Is it true that she is African American? I think I remember in Family/Affair that she said "I am black, you are Mexican" at the Mode rooftop with Betty. Was She Shot?[edit]

"In "The Past Presents the Future" Wilhelmina is shot by Tyler, Claire's long lost son." Unless someone else has confirmed it, we don't really know if she was shot based on the ending to the last episode. He could have missed, or shot Claire instead.
