Letter[edit]

A photograph of a letter is captioned:

Van der Does's letter to (captain) Pieter Verhoog on 30 August 1954. In this letter, van der Does was advising captain Verhoog and his wife to have a simple plastic surgery for the eyelid infection that one of them is suffering from, and advises a specific surgeon in America to perform the operation (translated by Gianni Orsini)

(i) What translation? (ii) What does the letter tell us about van der Does? -- Hoary (talk) 22:49, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
