I have removed a posting which I placed here earlier today, having resolved a difficulty attending this part of the article to my own satisfaction. The posting can be read in Pagetalk history. Eebahgum (talk) 19:07, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am now removing the following from the article, and reinstating it here. Verification for the identification of William Barnard Clarke, subject of this article, with the translator of Faust, remains elusive. Identification of William Barnard Clarke (physician) of Ipswich as the translator is impossible. Eebahgum (talk) 12:03, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am continuing to explore the possibility of verifying this connection in namespace here, any unnoticed sources welcome! Eebahgum (talk) 07:42, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Having now resolved this little puzzle I have returned a corrected version to the article. The namespace page remains if interested. Eebahgum (talk) 23:46, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
