The part about him being known throughout campus for his high-quality teaching needs sources. You can say that, but you'd need to have a link to a Justice article, for example, praising the professor. Or, cite his teaching awards, course evaluations, etc.

According to Brandeis University's Department of History and Department of Classical Studies faculty page for Kapelle, he go his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, not the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
