Ancestry and Alexander Hamilton[edit]

Just making a note of this in the talk section in case anyone else can figure out the answer. Almost all of the biographies of this person seem to mention that he is a "direct descendant of Alexander Hamilton" via his father Hamilton Utley. Hamilton's descendants seem pretty well documented, so I can't figure out how that would work unless "Hamilton Utley" is an unknown illegitimate son or grandson of Alexander Hamilton. -- Asdasdasdff (talk) 05:42, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
