Bartholomew[edit]

The Patent Rolls PR Edward III 1327 give the actual naming used at the time by King Edward III "Bartholomew de Burgherssh', constable of Dover Castle and warden of the Cinque Ports". It's one more source than the other editor uses, who doesn't use any. Just tries to bully people into accepting his uncited opinion. And the Patent Rolls are considered definitive for this time period, they are a primary source. Wjhonson 14:58, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
