An objection was raised to this article because it offered little more than "a reworking of the plot." Meaning that the article only summarizes the plot and does little to nothing else. This objection is noted but lacking. Users typically look to wikipedia as a source of plot explanation or summarization of movies, books, television etc. This objection to the article is tantamount to suggesting that a page which pertains to the life of a specific person contains "too much biographical information." Isn't summary and explanation what wikipedia is for? Additional (non-plot) information concerning Windhaven would be a great addition to the page. But suggesting the summary is deleted simply because it is a summary certainly does not help to compile complete information for the Windhaven page.

Publication history

[edit]

I wanted to note that this novel was originally published by the Timescape Books imprint of Simon and Schuster, but my edit was reverted. I believe this is a highly notable fact, as timescape was an important publishing force at that time. its being an imprint not an independent publisher should not be of concern i believe. As a good wikipedian, i am assuming good faith, and will not revert again without discussion.(my edit was done not logged in)Mercurywoodrose (talk) 16:12, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
