Dates?[edit]

There are no dates in this article, so nothing to suggest when this first appeared, or any idea of how long we might be waiting for a public beta or release. Some inidcation of timescales would be a nice addition to the article. Tomcage9 (talk) 20:23, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Wlm logo-ic.png[edit]

The image Image:Wlm logo-ic.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --06:36, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Direct Link?[edit]

Should there be an external link to the site that has the client on it? AFAIK this is the link that should be put on the article. Yes? No? Cybersteel8 (talk) 14:02, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • This article is about the discontinued product called "Windows Live Web Messenger". As the product has been discontinued, there wouldn't be a link to it. As for the link you provided http://webim.live.sg, please read the "History" section of the article - they're two different things. --Damaster98 (talk) 23:45, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
