I'll review this nomination. Initial comments should be posted soon. --1ST7 (talk) 23:30, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the review:

  1. Well-written
    • "Protection from prosecution was built into Texas whistleblower laws." Maybe "incorporated into" would be a better way to phrase it?
    • The lead says that the complaint was submitted in 2008, but the rest of the article says it was in 2009. As the latter seems to be correct, can you please make the lead consistent with the other text?
    • "The board noted that it received 6,849 complaints in 2010." Wikipedia:Words to watch discourages using the word "note" or any of its variants as a synonym for "said". Can you please reword?
    • Please mention Mitchell and Galle's termination of employment before the aftermath section, if possible.
  1. Verifiable with no original research:
  2. Broad in its coverage:
  3. Neutral:
  4. Stable:
  5. Illustrated, if possible, by images:

As a whole, this article looks close to ready for promotion to GA status. I will put it on hold for a week to give you time to address these issues. Thanks for your work! --1ST7 (talk) 03:22, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
