@Gerda Arendt: please compare with the English article. That one says it's based on Psalm 144; this one does not. Yoninah (talk) 12:49, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The source doesn't mention a psalm. - Sorry, once Thankgiving was over, I lost interest in expanding, and right now I have little time. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:58, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yoninah, I looked for a source for the claim, and a superficial look only shows Wikipedia and mirrors. How about expanding Psalm 144 and taking a closer look? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:22, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Title translation[edit]

I think the actual translation of the title is

"We plow and we sow"

Someone may want to double-check. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 21:14, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is correct, but is it a different meaning, and if yes, how? - In German, the second we is not needed, but there for the poetic metre. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:18, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
