Wish I Were Here

[edit]

Is there some in-joke reason why it's called "Wish I Was Here" rather than what it should be, "Wish I Were Here"? Is the title talking in the past tense? As in "[I] Wish I was here [in the past when that thing happened]" ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.217.180.197 (talk) 13:47, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Casting paragraph

[edit]

It is interesting that Zach Braff got his film funded with Kickstarter. I would like to keep that sentence and then delete the list of actors and the date they became part of the movie. Am I alone in thinking who cares when actors join a movie after the movie is made? They are all listed in the Cast paragraph. When Kate Hudson joined the cast, it must have helped Kickstarter donations but now the movie is made and the funding campaign has ended. It may be interesting that Ashley Greene replaced Anna Kendrick in the Janine role if we knew why. Now how do I get someone to agree or disagree with me? If I make the edit and delete most of the paragraph it may just be reverted. Let me wait awhile. Maybe there is some wiki policy out there. Maybe I need to ping the film portal but I don't know how to ping.Eschoryii (talk) 03:22, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Metacritic quote

[edit]

I don't really know how to make it better but it annoys me that the Metacritic quote is misleading

>particularly by director Zach Braff's previous features.

Since this was feature number two for Braff it makes no sense to talk about previous features in the plural. It makes it sound like he has directed many similar films.

Maybe this is referring to some of his acting roles but it is not clear. I went through the Metacritic reviews and tried to understand what it means but this doesn't actually seem to be a theme in the reviews.

So, if someone who regularly edits movie wikipages can find a better quote to sum up the reviews I would be less annoyed ;)
