Plot Description[edit]

This is slightly misleading: "Temujin's father is killed by Tartar assassins on his return from the journey. Temujin quickly returns to the Wolves, but Yesughi's first bondsman, Eeluk assumes control of the tribe."

I think this is better:

"Temujin's father is attacked by Tartar assassins on his return from the journey. Temujin quickly returns to the Wolves, but his father soon dies from his injuries. Character names[edit]

In the version I've just read (hardback, UK) the character referred to as Yesughi is spelled Yesugei, and there are other spelling differences in the text of this article. What is the reason for these differences? Blacklans (talk) 12:28, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
