References and Redlinks[edit]

This article is improving, but what are those "references" at the bottom of the article? The redlinks should be de-linked. -- Ssilvers 18:33, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed them for a while, I just don't have any idea what to do. The photos are credited to a Paul Kolnik, who is listed on IBDB as a photographer (on a lot of shows, not just this one). Did he give permission to use his photos or did someone just download them from the WT website? The other 2 -just don't know, altho a google search shows a David Cowles as a caricaturist, did he do the poster? Did he give permission? Again, don't know. And, even if Sarah Loveys is given credit, or took credit, for the summary-well, I've edited it, so it already is not her summary. I've de-linked them at the least.JeanColumbia 18:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I added some refs, and if you look at them you may see some background and other useful info. Fair use summaries are needed on the images. Still too many redlinks. Gotta get back to work! -- Ssilvers 19:37, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes 2013-12-16[edit]

Check links for article existence and inserted sortable casts tables in order to eliminate repetitive text. Wonder if it is worth the time in an overall effort to make the awards tables sortable so as to be made useful in articles that concentrate on awards if they are not already sortable tables.

It seems that with those productions that have a heavy further revival and adaptation value that breaking down the individual productions and adaptations helps to isolate those instead of jamming them into a couple paragraphs since people may not be willing to read through a jumble of text and instead concentrate on headings. Need to work on my headings capability. Any one can suggest an existing example from which I can use as a template? It appears that the original version that included the reference list at the end sought to eliminate individual links to what is supported by that source. This is obviously too broad a use of what is stated in the article and to what the source references veracity. Maybe in an attempt to get coordinated references in later work that can be eliminated although it does have to be admitted that as long as the sources remain alive then some freestyle searching is eliminated. Hope to concentrate mentions to very few so as to direct people to concentrated articles rather than repeating the same information in each article.A1Houseboy (talk) 06:54, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
