[edit]

Wonderland was not a poor slum area. I lived there until Emmit Domain was used to FORCE us and many others out. There are few places in America where the community DID raise the children,Wonderland was one of those places. The history posted was not the True History. We were chipped away at.Expansion of Hamilton Rd. took homes, building 270 took homes. We were told in the 50's the airport and Columbus wanted our land, our community. So it was easy to buy us out cheaply, why because Columbus would not help us improve our area, we had meetings, requests, hopes, promises of help.We asked what other communities received in state help, and received none.

We never gave up,or gave in to keep our community, it was nothing to do with low taxes,no place else to live because we could not afford too. It was a "Community of Family".If you plant a fancy bush in the front of your house, and the same kind out back where no one would see it, which one will you prune, water, tend, amire.Which one will keep growing on it's own, learn to live because it has the will to do so.Come to our "Wonderland Reunion" Oct 15,2011.Talk to us,watch the tears, hugs, memories come alive. How many people you grew up with, NOT class reunions, ever get together 20,30,40 years later? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.55.39.61 (talk) 12:40, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I moved the comment here from Wikipedia talk:Identifying reliable sources.
  • Talk pages are for discussing improvements to articles on the encyclopedia, so the reunion invitation, unfortunately, has no place on Wikipedia, and could lead to your whole comment being deleted. However:
  • The article needs reliable sources. 'Please help by providing newspaper, magazine, and book references (date, publication, page, article title, etc) to improve the article's reliability and verifiability. Ask your friends to help, too. --Lexein (talk) 14:59, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
