Wong Fu Forward[edit]

On February 13, 2018, Wong Fu Productions released a video detailing the channel's goals to produce longer video series like "Just Another Nice Guy" and to support current and aspiring artists. To do this, they have started a Patreon page and have named this new transition as "Wong Fu Forward".

Since their announcement, they have released a 5 episode series, "Yappie", focusing on Asian American experiences with the model minority myth. Throughout August of 2018, they went on "The Yappie Tour" with 11 shows in the US and Canada, selling out in Vancouver, San Francisco, and both of the shows in Toronto.

Wong Fu Productions has made many changes so far in 2018, expanding the use of their platform to address the Asian American experience and to support fellow Asian Americans in the media. Prisci8 (talk) 01:30, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Prisci8: If we can find some reliable third-party sources, we can add this to the main body. Airplaneman 15:49, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Airplaneman: I just added some changes to the page with sources! I could not find a source for their Yappie tour, so it might be too early to add something about their tour, since they recently revealed that they are doing a Yappie tour for colleges.
