Village of Woodbury[edit]

How should it be mentioned that the entire town incorporated besides the part in Harriman? [1] Red1530 22:55, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By just saying that. Daniel Case 15:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Woodbury, NY post office is in Nassau County - is your post office Highland Mills? Does Woodbury ever appear as an address by you??--JimWae (talk) 08:56, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, people generally use Highland Mills, Central Valley or Harriman as their mailing address. Daniel Case (talk) 20:56, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The paragraphs on the problems faced by Woodbury are biased against the Woodbury Common Outlet without any supporting citations. Ballz2DaWallz (talk) 05:27, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted them. Daniel Case (talk) 21:09, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable inhabitant[edit]

Mort Drucker lived in the Woodbury, NY on Long Island, not the one in Orange County. My source for this is that I knew him personally, which means I can't change the article, because that would be Original Research, correct? WaxTadpole (talk) 14:33, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It would actually be removing original research, since there's no citation for Drucker living in that particular Woodbury. I've removed it myself. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 14:52, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Separate pages[edit]

The Town and the Village of Woodbury are not exactly coterminous because of the Town covering that extra part of Harriman. Also, the town and the village have two separate governments, in contrast to coterminous Town-Villages which have just one government. So, shouldn't there be two separate pages for the Town and the Village? Inkan1969 (talk) 03:47, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there should be. DemocraticLuntz (talk) 13:16, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
