Yippie[edit]

'bout time somebody started an article here. Kmzundel, You're my hero. -MrFizyx 19:14, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Mr. Fizyk! In August I was elected to the Woody Guthrie Coaliton - the organization that plans the festival - so I've been cornered.  ;-) As you probably guessed, I'll be gradually adding content - plenty of it - as soon as I can get things collected and get my act (I almost wrote shit) together. lol Of course, I wouldn't turn down an offer of help. ;-) Kmzundel 00:01, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woodyfest history[edit]

Unless I missed it, I was suprised not to see a mention of Larry Long. We were under the impression that his work in the community may have helped to lay the groundwork for the festival. Is that not so? We have missed him in recent years. 66.76.51.121 (talk) 16:35, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I don't have any "verifiable" information regarding Long laying the groundwork for the festival. The program booklet from the 1st festival does not list him as performing that year. He is listed as performing at the 2nd festival, so I have added his name to the other names listed as having performed that year. Kmzundel (talk) 00:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
