Note industrial accident now redirects here and not to industrial disasters, which is just a list. --Pontificalibus (talk) 21:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've just rewritten and expanded the article sourcing it. The sources I used are: ILO, OSHA, Eurostat, ΕΛΙΝΥΑΕ (a Greek public institute for Health and Safety, www.elinyae.gr). I replaced the existing definition (which included in occupational accidents, accidents with material damage only), as i could only find it in sites such as dictionaries and blogs. However, all the state and international organizations I checked with follow more closely the one given now. I have to apologize for my poor html editing skills, if anyone can help with that, espaeceially in the references, it would be appreciated. Xzar 62.169.220.17 (talk) 13:58, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possible expansion of article: Liability[edit]

What happens if there's an accident? Is the employer liable? Does their insurance have to pay? What does the law in different jurisdictions say about liability in case of a work accident? Nakonana (talk) 18:32, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
