The problem is that we don't have anything but your word for that. There needs to be a note permitting re-use under the GFDL at the site of the original publication. Cordless Larry 21:41, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While I removed one link which didn't have anything to do with the page itself, the visalogic link seems to have relevance given the above message. Another editor, CliffC, removed the above link in spite of the long-ranging discussion as to the origin and copyright on the information. He has done similar things on another page (work permit), and followed my original log in to this page. Would suggest that someone else look into this behaviour, and file a dispute. I came to this page, not normally on my watchlist, following up on a copyright violation and insertion of a promotional link by User:Cupheater, who soon became User:NewCupheater, then User:NewNewCupheater. I have removed the subject link again, because I don't believe the GNU Free Documentation License mentioned above confers the right to maintain in the article an external link promoting the source site. But I could be wrong. I don't think anyone watching this will file a dispute for you, it would probably be best if you did so yourself. Or, you could remove the whole problem very simply by using the pertinent page at visalogic.net as a citation for a statement made within the article text, using <ref>[...]</ref> tags to cause it to appear under the References header. --CliffC (talk) 22:02, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change from 2nd to 3rd person

[edit]

I have copy edited the text to change from 2nd to 3rd person. In doing so, I have had to make a judgement as to the meaning of some parts of the text. It would be helpful if someone who knows this area could check it. Rjm at sleepers (talk) 08:04, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update for change to points-based scheme

[edit]

I think this needs to be rewritten in the past tense. As I understand, the scheme has been replaced by a points-based scheme. Nurg (talk) 06:02, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Work permit (United Kingdom). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
