The Swedish org was called Arbetarkonvojen, to which there are much info (in swedish) through google. I'm not sure how the relations were between Workers Aid, if the swedish campaign was part of the international one and if so how. The international network was called International Workers Aid. [1]. The international coordination was placed in Sweden. [2]

There was an acrimonious split at a conference in Manchester in 1994 (which I attended), with the minority in Britain, but the majority internationally, separating from WAB to form IWA. The issues were complicated, involving political slogans, the conduct of the convoy to Bosnia, and differing conceptions of the relative democratic legitimacy of different committees. Both campaigns continued to operate independently (though with occasional cooperation on the ground) for several years. Enough time has passed for me to be able to write dispassionately about this, and I have the publications of both campaigns, so I will expand this article as soon as I get the chance.
