Sokolov is already included at World War II casualties of the Soviet Union#Historical revisionism in Russia. This article is quite large, I see no reason for a fork to include Sokolov who is a fringe writer in Russia.--Woogie10w (talk) 12:15, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
The question who is fringe in Russia has several answers. I hope you don't believe the Russian state?
Sokolov's 1996 article is quoted. I'm not able to check if he has changed his numbers.Xx236 (talk) 13:03, 26 October 2015 (UTC)


Anyway Sokolov has extensive coverage at [2]. His numbers are 43 million total dead including 26 million military. --Woogie10w (talk) 13:10, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
