Talk:Wushu stances

While at first it seemed that perhaps a "martial arts stances" page was in order with the various styles linking off, I think this will serve as a good resource to beginning students.

I think we need to generate a full list with pictures, get the Chinese names, and then differentiate their applications in the different wushu styles.

As there is already an article on the horse stance which covers its application in different traditions, I suppose a page could be created for each stance if sufficient information was provided for each, but it would be better to put the information here first.

I greatly expanded the page, but I have had trouble acquiring the Chinese characters for the pinyin names. If anyone could figure it out, I'd be really appreciative of the help. If additional references are needed, I'd recommend Yang Jwing-Ming or maybe Lee Kam-Wing. Adam Hsu's pretty good for that also, although most of my knowledge came from learning the forms myself and watching practitioners. Omicr0n7d3n9 (talk) 20:46, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
