Goof
[edit]To whom this may concern:
I goofed again on the Wuthering Heights infobox.
Can anyone fix it please? Thank you.
Yours truly,

Filming Section
[edit]The trivia section was easily changed to a section on the filming of the movie, so I did so, and added sources in several instances. The 2 things remaining in the trivia section seem unnecessary; if no one minds, I will delete those in a few days. I will check here for objections first. Plot
[edit]Could someone who's seen this film add a little explanation of how they make the plot work without the entire second half of the story? What changes were made? How does this film end? Thanks, cmadler (talk) 19:38, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- It wasn't too difficult. In the novel, at the end of the First Volume (what we might call Part I), Heathcliff has wreaked his revenge on Hindley Earnshaw, who was of his generation and who had made his early life miserable. Catherine dies at the end of the First Volume. The beginning of the Second Volume then skips over twelve years, and takes the story up when Heathcliff begins to wreak his revenge on Catherine and Edgar's daughter, also named Catherine, who was just a newborn at the end of the First Volume. It wasn't too difficult, given that disconnect of time and generations, to just leave the Second Volume out of it. It didn't change the themes of revenge and of the weird, obsessive, toxic relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine. The only actual change, rather than omission, made was to move the death of Heathcliff backward in time. Jersey Jan (talk) 23:34, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Film Wuthering Heights
[edit]Was Wuthering Heights based on "real life people?" 2601:14D:8000:27A0:D8E1:909C:C97F:6B27 (talk) 07:32, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
Why are we talking about radio version of the novel?
[edit]This article has a "radio" section for some reason, which lists two of the many radio versions that are adapting the source novel, not this movie. Why are these two more important than the many others, two of which we can see in the links section? Sterlingjones (talk) 22:27, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
More importantly, why is there a radio adaptation section here at all? These are adaptations of the novel, not the 1939 film. Unless anyone has an objection, I shall remove these two adaptations to the article 'Adaptations of Wuthering Heights', which is missing them.Masato.harada (talk) 14:06, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
