Date-of-birth cite.

[edit]

No doubt the fellow was born, and probably about then, but there are two problems with using this cite. One is it is ephemeral. The site documents who is in the slammer there, and why; once you are out, it disappears, and it isn't archived anywhere publicly acessible. Once he's xfered or released, the cite becomes meaningless. It will be a cite supported only by Wiki itself, and that is a Bad Thing.

More importantly, though, its message isn't just "this guy was born" it's "...and look where he is now~" Anmccaff (talk) 18:15, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you about the ephemeral nature. I didn't put it in. I disagree with your concern about it being prejudicial, however. Have you Googled him? That horse long ago left the stable. Philafrenzy (talk) 18:18, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
(I might be alone in knowing about the guy beforehand, by the look of it...)
Nah, I hadn't done a recent Google to see exactly what turds floated in the sewer called "internet"... yupp, they've already convicted the poor f----r of murder, mayhem and being unfit for France. (Dunno which is considered worst.) There's all kinds of material like that available, sometimes in otherwise respectable sources, out there, it all doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. Page for Trenton Cornell-Duranleau

Shouldn't the victim have his own page? AFriendofTrent (talk) 10:21, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
