Telescopes

[edit]

I tried to improve the structure in the first part. I might continue in the future. I am a bit confused by the overlapping between different voices: X-ray telescope, X-ray Optics, X-ray Astronomical Optics, History of X-ray Astronomy. At least the first three have high overlapping, and also the voice X-ray optics seems to be written by an astronomer, when this type of optics is probably more commonly (or less uncommonly) employed in synchrotrons.

Examples of existing telescopes in this section are nearly completely irrelevant and missing the most important telescopes. I have a complete table that I can upload if I have time and understand how to convert it, but at least it should include Chandra, XMM, Swift and probably a couple of higher energy missions.

I am not sure this is the right place for comments, it's first time I write in a talk page. Vincenzoooo (talk) 03:02, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How about HEAO-1 HEAO-2 Chandra? `a5b (talk) 23:27, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
