- ... that XO, Kitty—based on the To All the Boys I've Loved Before film series—will be the first Netflix series spun-off from a Netflix Original Film? Source: [1]
Moved to mainspace by Pamzeis (talk). Self-nominated at 14:37, 25 April 2022 (UTC).
- Article is new and nominated within 7 days of moving to mainspace. Article length is less than 1,500 characters in prose if you don't count the lead. Article is neutral but the cast members do not have inline citations and sources. Earwig results note that copyright violation is unlikely. Hook is acceptable, and QPQ has been done. lullabying (talk) 03:21, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Factual accuracy
[edit]The Netflix original film Arlo the Alligator Boy and its spinoff series I Heart Arlo have been out for nearly a year now, so this show is clearly not the first spin-off of a Netflix original film and I'm surethere are others before it. @Lullabying: @Pamzeis: 49.189.243.125 (talk) 12:47, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- The source linked in the DYK is Variety, which states that it's the first. Maybe it could be clarified that it's the first live-action iteration? lullabying (talk) 20:34, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
Why are you relying on an incorrect source for a disproven fact? @Pamzeis: 49.189.243.125 (talk) 00:20, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- On Wikipedia, we aim for verifiability, not the truth. If reliable sources support something, then Wikipedia should mention it. Also, the Arlo series is described as a follow-up, not a spin-off. I'm not familiar with this franchise, but from reading the plot summary, I believe it does not fit the definition of a spin-off, as it does not focus on different characters, etc. Pamzeis (talk) 01:10, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
