In Sept. of 1967 I was assigned to the XVIII abn. corps Arty at Ft. Bragg. My unit was 4th Bn. 73rd Arty C battery. We were an 8 inch self propelled unit. When I arrived at the unit we did not have our guns. They were issued later. I became Motor officer and set up the TOE for the motorpool. My motor Sgt. was SSG Wilfong. The 1st SGT was Shanklin. Our CO was 2nd LT. Hopkins. Is the 4/73rd still an active unit? Any info. would be appreciated
