Age at death

The English-language source for death states he was 81; I can't read the Chinese language one, but it appears to have "81" in the text. Could someone please clarify, as this obviously conflicts with the August month of birth. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:47, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Espresso Addict: That's because of the traditional Chinese way of counting age, which is usually (but not always) a year older than the Western tradition. See East Asian age reckoning. -Zanhe (talk) 23:50, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
