When and how did she get GM title?[edit]

Apparently she was not awarded the GM title by winning the Women's World Championship in 1991. German and Russian Wikis say 1993, according to List of chess grandmasters it's 1995 and gives FIDE as reference, but her FIDE page says only that she gained WIM title in 1989 and nothing else about other titles. Can someone check the year when she became GM on Gaige's book please? Sophia91 (talk) 15:53, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In her autobiography she says she received word of it in 1994. I have added the reference. On p. 65 of the same book she also claims to have received the WGM title, apparently in 1991 or possibly 1990 – it happened before the Candidates final against Maric and presumably resulted from her winning the Candidates tournament in 1990.
