Pretty interesting article. I've always wondered how long those arrows were, and why. Here are some points to consider:

  • References:Needs at least one more, perhaps to answer some of the questions in the next item.
  • Coverage:Covers alot of the technical aspects quite well. The article mentions "ceremonial use"; in what ceremonies is archery used? Is there a practical use for these arrows, eg, are there hunting arrows? How did an arrow for warfare differ from hunting and target arrows? The fact that "fake" arrows are sold at shrines at New Years might be mentioned, as might the portrayal of arrows on some family crests, if references can be found for either.
