English Slang Term[edit]

Yabos is also a slang term in English (UK) for a person who is lower class, stupid or mindless. Kind of like a yahoo in American English. 4.142.132.190 15:06, 9 September 2007 (UTC)eric[reply]

yabo[edit]

In the philippines, the word "yabo" refers to a flour-like ingredient that is used to make the local delicacy called "ice candy". It is a confection that is usually made of fruits and juices, sugar, and is sometimes made with a bit of milk. And then it is placed in small bags and then thrown into the freezer. Yabo is also used to make the local "dirty ice cream" --ice cream that is locally made with fruits of the season or whatever available flavor and sold in the streets in peculiar little carts.

"Yabo" is cooked together with the liquid ingredients and allowed to boil obtaining a consistency of a light paste. When the liquid cools, it makes the frozen concoction smooth and creamy and silky.
