Creation[edit]

I tried to make this page as good as possible before uploading, but there are undoubtedly mistakes. I wasn't sure how many footnotes to use, since nearly everything could be noted. So I guessed and just noted a few parts that seemed worthy of it. More or less can be done if anything is questionable. My sources are almost entirely the two books listed. Most other sources online don't provide anything beyond what these books do (some websites seem to have their facts wrong, or paint a strangely simplified picture). Anyway, hope it stands pretty well as is. I'll be fixing some redirects and links, and editing the Yamasee page (which until now was the only page with info on the Yamasee War here). Comment[edit]

[Taken from main article space. -Uyvsdi (talk) 19:48, 10 May 2013 (UTC)Uyvsdi] Black Slaves also fought along side the Native Americans against the settlements. This fact is often overlooked regarding this and other conflicts of the time. There was extensive Black resistance which has gone uncited. —IP User 68.184.131.54 (talk)[reply]

Possibly, in the see also section you could add a link to the page about slavery among native americans, as the native american slave trade did have a large influence in the start of the war. Sheridan.lea (talk) 03:14, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is already linked in the article, Factors included land encroachment by Europeans, the trading system, trader abuses, the [[Slavery among Native Americans in the United States|Indian slave trade]], the depletion of deer... Pfly (talk) 06:56, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adding More Belligerents.[edit]

I am in no way an authority on the subject (I'm just reading about the various American Indian Wars), but shouldn't the various native american tribes listed in the first paragraph be listed in the belligerents? I think i'll attempt to fix that. Yolo McSwagginz93 (talk) 01:16, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind it looks more complicated than I expected. Yolo McSwagginz93 (talk) 01:20, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The last external link (Appalachian Summit) is not valid as of today. Pldean (talk) 18:41, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
