Flag icon in infobox

[edit]

Which flag should be displayed in the infobox for Shanghai? I changed it to the PRC flag because Shanghai is presently part of the People's Republic of China but this was reverted shortly afterwards to the ROC flag without any edit summary. Is the ROC flag being used because this was correct for the year 1929? Thanks. --DTGHYUKLPOQWMNB 21:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should be the PRC (People's Republic of China) flag not the ROC flag. It was probably a common mistake.Misterx2000 (talk) 10:47, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yang was born in ROC's Shanghai in 1929. PRC was found in 1949, which was 20 years after his birth.--218.103.209.164 (talk) 15:48, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would someone like to correct this, either by creating the articles, linking to existing articles or removing the wikilinks? Thanks.Misterx2000 (talk) 10:44, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
