Did yellowtab actually close, they have an announcement on their site stating that distribution is being made by Magnussoft, but it doesn't imply that yellowtab is going out of business. It would be nice if someone could verify the changes made by 62.77.181.1 Suppafly 21:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- distribution as well as production was taken over by magnussoft, according to zeta-os.com --Jer the linear 09:56, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- According to press reports, they silently ceased all business activities even before the insolvency proceedings started. Golem.de, a well-known German IT news service, reported that even weeks before the news about the insolvency came, their support phone lines were dead and nobody had been seen working in their office for quite some time. (sources available at de:yellowTAB). Later, the Mannheim court ordered an insolvency administrator who in June informed all the creditors that they would have to submit their claims until August 8. and that a creditors' assembly was to be held in September. However, before that could happen, he had to concede what in German is called "Masseunzulänglichkeit", i.e. the fact that the remaining assets of the company would not suffice to satisfy the creditors' claims. Looks like Bernd Korz successfully managed to fully burn all the investors' money.
- All the official notes can be found at http://www.insolvenzbekanntmachungen.de/ (German only). I found no notice there of the creditors' assembly actually having taken place. The above note about "Masseunzulänglichkeit" is the last one that you find there. Further, I haven't read any news in other sources concerning the further proceedings. If you go to yellowtab.com, the web site doesn't even mention the fact that the company has meanwhile gone down the drain. Berd Korz, the founder of yellowTAB is reported to have joined a project group at RuneSoft http://www.rune-soft.com, a subsidiary of Magnussoft which would be entrusted with the further development of ZETA. --Johannes Rohr 22:28, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
